A very dry summer and sudden severe cold last week is playing havoc with the fall colors this year. Our trees are not doing too badly - here you can see the front Maple going orange brown and the other tree has been dark purple for four weeks now. A new fertilizer plan should ensure that our lawn dissappears quite green under the snow when that comes. - Oct 4, 2003

The new siding going on to our house - after the second day the garage is done and most of the front of the house. You can still see some of the old slate blue siding up at the very top [Oct 2 2002]
