One of the last drive-in theaters in America is probably seeing its last summer in Minnesota.
So, to make sure the boys have that experience also, we went to see a very forgetable movie there….
But just being in a drive-in, was quite an experience – the film can only start after ten – its only then when it gets dark enough to see anything on the screen.
Very few people sit in their cars – most, like us, tailgate – that is to turn the car around and open the boot and “camp out”.
The boys watched the movie from inside the back of the minivan where I had removed the seats so they could lie down and we sat on camping chairs outside.
